- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the frozen corn in the slow cooker.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, melted butter, and milk. Stir to combine.
- Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
- Cover the slow cooker with the lid, set it to low heat, and cook for 3-4 hours. Stir occasionally during the cooking time.
- Once the corn is tender and the cheese has melted to a creamy consistency, give it one final stir and adjust the seasoning if needed.
- Serve and enjoy the creamy, cheesy goodness!
Notes
- You can use fresh corn if preferred. Just cut the kernels off the cob and follow the same steps.
- Adjust the cheese to your taste. Add more cheddar for a stronger flavor, or mix in other cheeses like Parmesan or mozzarella.
- For extra flavor, top with crispy bacon bits, fresh herbs, or a sprinkle of paprika.
- This dish can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the slow cooker or on the stovetop, adding a little milk if it thickens too much.
