- ½ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup honey
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, whisk together yellow mustard, brown sugar, honey, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, kosher salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Once it begins to simmer, reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it cook for about 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool to room temperature.
- Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to one week.

- For a less sweet sauce, reduce the honey or substitute the brown sugar with a sugar alternative.
- Increase cayenne pepper or add hot sauce for extra heat.
