Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles: Boil egg noodles in salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Make the sauce: In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter, then stir in cream of chicken soup and chicken broth. Mix until smooth.
  3. Season: Add garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir well.
  4. Combine: Add the cooked noodles to the sauce and toss until fully coated.
  5. Simmer & Serve: Let sit for a few minutes to absorb the flavors, then serve warm. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust the seasoning to your taste by adding more garlic powder, onion powder, or salt.
  • If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to thin it out.
  • For extra flavor, try adding cooked chicken or vegetables such as peas or mushrooms.
  • You can make the dish even creamier by adding a sprinkle of grated cheese.
